If you created your Spotify account using Facebook, there is no way to disconnect that account from Facebook, they are tied forever. If you wish to disconnect from Facebook you will need a new account. Spotify is one of the best streaming music services, which provides listeners with high music quality and a large music library. With Spotify app, Spotify Free users can enjoy Spotify music with limited features while Spotify Premium users are accessible to the full features of Spotify.

What I didn’t sign up for, is a link to facebook. Remove this link between Spotify and Facebook. I’m a free man and I will make my choices by myself. I hate when some smart dude make them for me. • Try opening the web player in a private/incognito window. Find the option to open a new private/incognito window in your browser’s menu.
• If you see the message “Playback of protected content is not enabled”, check out Enable the web player.
• Check @SpotifyStatus for any ongoing issues.
• Some shared or public networks (e.g. schools/work/office) restrict access to certain services. You can contact those responsible for managing the network for more information.

Get started

1. On desktop, download the Discord app and open it.
2. Click Connections in the menu on the left.
3. Click Spotify.
4. A web page will open to connect. If you’re not already logged into Spotify on the device, you’re directed to log in or sign up first.
5. Click CONFIRM to confirm.

Facebook Spotify Account

Once you’ve connected Spotify to your Discord account, you can choose to display what you’re listening to in real time on your profile.

To disconnect

1. Click Connections in the menu on the left of the Discord desktop app.
2. Click Spotify.
3. Click X in the top left of the green box.
4. Click Disconnect to confirm.

1. On desktop, open the Discord desktop app.
2. Click someone that’s Listening to Spotify from your list of friends on the right.
3. Click the Listen Along icon .
